Customers driving up to the fuel pumps at Shell North Azaiba ,Mina Al Fahal and Mawaleh South can now see Shell and third party content on bright HD screens visible from their vehicles while they are refuelling. These screens will not only display transaction details - the type, quantity and value of fuel dispensed right in front of them, but also provide information in looped sequences that include safety messages, services available at the station as well as third party marketing content.

Mohammed bin Mahmood Al-Balushi, Country Manager – Retail remarked, “We are happy to launch this differentiator to make visits to Shell stations more exciting. While the CIS screens will add to our existing customer experience, we will continue investing in our customer service programmes also.  The human connect that our forecourt staff provides is vital to make the customers feel really welcomed.”

The system integrator and media partner of this ground breaking project, Eyecomms, an award winning Omani company, is convinced the CIS will be one of the most effective platforms for third party marketing.  Raif bin Mohammed Al-Harthy, Director of Business Development at Eyecomms explained, “The CIS will facilitate advertisers to reach out to their clientele 24/7. This will significantly multiply their outreach to potential customers.”

ABOUT Shell Oman Marketing Company SAOG

Initially established in 1958, Shell Marketing (Oman) Ltd became a public limited company in 1997 and was renamed Shell Oman Marketing Company SAOG.
