Terminal Electrical Supervisor (Supply & Distribution Department)

The main responsibilities include, but not limited, to the following:


• Maintain facilities to Shell Group operations and HSE standards
• Control maintenance for Electrical Pannel & electrical systems, DBs, terminal automation system & tank gauging systems, scully, CP systems & earthing etc.
• Maintain Facility as per HSE cases.
• Practice contingency plans regularly.
• Build & maintain effective teams to improve performance efficiency
• Carry out the maintenance through contractors in line with engineering practices.
• Documenting records in line with corrective and preventive maintenance in line with engineering standards.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

 

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Electrical & Electronics with minimum 3 years of experience or Diploma holder in electrical or electronics with a minimum of 5 years experience
• Strong Communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Ability to work under pressure
• HSE & Environmental Management & Knowledge of safe systems of work
• Skill to maintain Electrical Panel & electrical systems, DBs, tank gauging systems, scully, CP, PLC panel & earthing  etc
• Knowledge to handle terminal automation systems.
• Knowledge of Maintenance & execution processes
• Understanding of S.A.P. is an advantage.

Terminal Operations Administrator (Supply & Distribution Department)

 

This position will be based in Sohar

The main responsibilities include, but not limited, to the following:

• Confirm that truck loadings are entered correctly into the GSAP system and resolve any problems associated in this area.

• Manage month end closure under time pressure.
• Confirm HM loadings for inbound and outbound, i.e. record load figures of barge and pipe into GSAP.

• Verify and record the correct quantity of hydrocarbons leaving the depot terminal, ensuring accurate loss control and duty recording compliance.

• Create correct and accurate freight documentation for HM loadings and receipts.

•  Check actual quantities received against planned/loaded quantities and ensure that correct quantities are captured in a timely manner.

• Support the stock reconciler to record all movements that are carried out at the depot / terminal into TRECS (Terminal reconciliation System).

•  Support the Stock reconciler to maintain terminal specific master data in TRECS.

•  Maintain reference density and temperature for products in GSAP.
•  Execute procurement activities, e.g. creating and approving of service entry sheets, recording receipt of materials.
•  Request and confirm work orders for non routine maintenance.
•  Support monitoring daily stock levels at depots.
•  Support monitoring additive operation and stock levels at depots and inform parties accordingly in order to prevent additive stock outs.

• Manage legal and fiscal matters according local requirements.

•  In relation to excise duty and customs duty this includes acting as the interface with customs and excise authorities regarding operational issues, dealing with on site audits and undertaking excise and customs tasks that are integrated with the underlying movements (eg import and export customs formalities, export controls, preparation and submission of bio-balances).
•  Maintain production master data for Bitumen Blending process.


Qualifications & Skills Required:

 

• Minimum of Diploma Certificate.
• Strong Communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Working experience in business administration.
•  Accurate and careful way of working.
• Computer literate.
•  Numerical and analytical skills


Terminal Supervisor (Supply & Distribution Department)

 

The main responsibilities include, but not limited, to the following:


Graduate Executive in Distribution

The selected candidate will be developed for a Senior Terminal Supervisor position in the Supply & Distribution business by exposure to different roles within the Terminal and Transport operations and by dealing with contractor companies, other businesses within the Shell Group and all departments within the Company.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• University degree, preferably in a technical discipline, Operations Management or Logistics.
• Dynamic, self-reliant and able to work shifts, weekends and flexible with short travels.
• Demonstrable leadership abilities and team working skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in both spoken and written Arabic and English.
• Valid Omani driving license.
• Computer literate.

Logistics Administrator

The main responsibilities include, but not limited, to the following:

• The role covers the execution of the daily logistics admin tasks including in and outbound, local and international activities:
• Organizing transportation means, timeslots for replenishment/pickup/directs/rush orders.
• The execution of the daily logistics admin tasks including in and outbound, local and international activities.
• Keeping local legacy systems (ERP) up-to-date related to logistics activity.
• Provides support to monitoring and improvement of HSSE and Logistics KPI's.
• Compliance with all local and legislative HSSE standards.
•  Correct and up to date booking of all movements in local legacy systems (ERP)
• Ensure all delivery administration and documentation complete.

• To confirm that deliveries have been delivered as loaded and to resolve discrepancies.  Receive Prove of Delivery and confirm in system where relevant.
• To capture information related to loading and delivery confirmation for export orders.
• To ensure that all export regulations/documentation and requirements are met by Shell. Liaison.

Qualifications & Skills Required:
• General Logistics and Operations experience.
• Minimum of High Diploma
• Strong Communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Customs and transport documentation.
• Experience with integrated legacy systems (SAP/ERP) is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure
