Shell Oman Marketing Company SAOG launched ‘My Beautiful Oman’ campaign, which is part of the 40th National Day celebrations, under the auspices of H.E.Eng/ Sultan bin Hamdoun Al-Harthy, President of the Muscat Municipality. Shell Oman Marketing Company SAOG won two new contracts for supplying aviation fuel to Fly Dubai and Aviation Services Management (ASM) at Muscat International Airport. The contracts period is from 1st April 2010 to 31st March 2011.

Shell Oman Marketing Company SAOG held the Annual Ordinary General Meeting (AGM) of its shareholders to deliberate the financial results of the company for the year ended 31st December 2009. Shell Oman achieved unprecedented financial results recording the highest ever net profit of RO13.02 million compared to RO12.5 million in 2008.
Shell Oman posts record profits, highest among oil companies
In spite of the prevailing global slowdown, Shell Oman emerged as the leader in the Sultanate’s fuel marketing industry, posting highest gross & net profits. Shell’s net profit rose by 3.9% in 2009 to RO 13mn, compared with 12.5m in 2008. Gross profit margin improved to 10.96% in FY’09, from 9.28% in FY’08.
Dhofar Region tops in Shell Retail World
The recent Shell global Mystery Motorist Survey by an independent research firm showed that Dhofar region in Oman topped the Shell Retail world across over 100 countries where the programme is run.
