Shell Oman Supports AEICWSN with Free Fuel

The Association of Early Intervention For Children With Special Needs, one of the leading charitable organisations received 10 Shell Fuel Cards as a goodwill gesture from Shell Oman.

Mr Faisal Al-Hashar, Managing Director of Shell Oman Marketing Company SAOG handed over the fuel cards to Mr. Hassan Mohamed Mossa, Marketing and Fund Raising Manger, at a special presentation ceremony held in Shell Oman Head Office.

He congratulated AEICWSN for their remarkable work for the upliftment of the children with special needs in Oman, by making them self reliant and helping them contribute towards the progress of society.

Mr Faisal Al-Hashar said, “The role of AEICWSN has been instrumental in creating a substantial place for the physically handicapped in society, one from which we all should get inspired. At Shell Oman we have always supported charitable initiatives and social investment programmes. The free fuel is our gesture in the same direction.”

“Shell Oman is a responsible corporate citizen, where it believes in participating in helping and investing in the welfare of the communities that we operate in as long as we do it profitably and responsibly. It has been a continuous endeavour of Shell Oman to give a momentum to long-term sustainable development in the country. Helping out communities in fact, is laid out as one of the 7 core principles guiding our sustainable development programme.” He added

Mr Hassan Mohammed Moosa said, “We are absolutely thrilled with the support offered by Shell Oman. This is not the first time Shell Oman extends its support to the association, as the support of the company started since 2005 through providing a fuel card for one bus. And currently the company provides 10 fuel cards for 10 of the association's vehicles. The free fuel will go a long way in minimising our daily transportation costs. It will also help us allocate finances and resources towards other productive activities related to our cause.”
