Mohammed Ali Al Farsi, GM - External Affairs and Business Development, Shell Oman stated, “Road safety is a significant part of the Company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy, and since we have been pioneers in presenting children traffic park to the public for over 10 years, we are excited to have partnered once again with our stakeholders at the Ministry of Education to continue this initiative for families visiting Muscat Festival, and as always it is turning out to be one of the main attractions among this year’s activities.”

“Road Safety methods and measures reduce the risks associated with the use of the road networks. Keeping in mind the rate of accidents in the Sultanate, equipping children with the right tools and knowledge will make them responsible road users now and in the future. We value our strategic partnership with Shell Oman for its positive contribution to road safety, and the Traffic Park is one element of this relationship. The live demonstrations, presentations and interactive video make it a fun learning experience for kids”, stated Fatma Noorani, DG of Private Schools, Ministry of Education.

Shell Oman continues its commitment to the growth of local tourism in Oman through supporting major national festivities such as the Muscat Festival in which Shell Oman finds a great opportunity to participate in supporting tourism sector in the Sultanate while also leveraging on the opportunity to spread road safety messages.
