Muscat, August 11, 2016 - In line with Shell Oman’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and developing Omani talents, a memorandum of agreement has been signed between the Ministry of Higher Education and Shell to launch Shell Ideas360 competition for the first time in the Sultanate later in September 2016.

Shell Oman organized a ceremony to celebrate the three student teams that represented Oman in the Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2016, which was held in Manila, Philippines. The ceremony was held under the auspices of H.E. Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, Undersecretary of Ministry of Oil and Gas.
Shell Oman Marketing Company SAOG held the Annual Ordinary General Meeting (AGM) on 22 March 2016 to present the annual financial results of the Company for the year ended 31 December 2015. Shell Oman achieved unprecedented financial results recording the highest ever net profit of RO14.18 million, compared to RO12.28 million in 2014. Earnings per share (EPS) were 15.5% higher than 2014.
The Board of Directors of Shell Oman Marketing Company SAOG (SOM) has appointed Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Al Balushi to replace Mr. Adil Ismail Abdullah Al-Raisi as the Managing Director of the Company effective 2nd February 2016. Mohammed will also represent juristic Shareholder Shell Gas BV as their nominated Director.
